As a Business Analytics Consultant within PNC's Enterprise Fraud organization, you will be based specifically in PITTSBURGH - PA or BIRMINGHAM - AL

The fraud analyst will support the fraud mitigation plan for the card domain (Credit and Debit) Their focus is to balance fraud loss with customer experience and business growth. Specific duties to include identifying and understanding fraud patterns, maintaining and proposing countermeasures, and presenting findings to leadership/management. They will be collaborating with partners in the line of business, the Enterprise Fraud Organization, operations, technology, modeling, legal, and other stakeholders. Must be comfortable working in a rapid pace environment due to the nature of the underlying work and potential loss that could be incurred.

Preferred skillsets include statistical and analytical capabilities with experience in SQL, Python, R, Hadoop, Oracle, Spark, Pyspark and Teradata.

Job Description

• Leverages analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and applications for a business function or business unit to create data driven solutions.

• Recommending appropriate performance measures to be produced including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.

• Analyzing and processing data, building and maintaining models and report templates, and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions.

• Providing business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from, data processing, and data analysis.

• Consulting on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools and data marts.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
