The primary responsibility of this role is to provide Software Engineering support on the cyber data analytics platform. You will work on complex products and initiatives that require in-depth knowledge within the software engineering domain supporting cloud native-based big data analytics technologies.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the person in this role will support the Cyber Protection department's objective to deploy security solutions for applications supporting the enterprise and connected vehicle environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Active contributor to code development in projects and services
Manage and scale data pipelines from internal and external data sources to support new product launches and drive data quality across data products
Build and own the automation and monitoring frameworks
Responsible for implementing best practices around systems integration, security, performance, and data management
Empower security operations by helping scale the cyber analytics platform and increased the adoption of data and data science
Collaborate within cybersecurity to drive solutions and POC discussions.
Develop and optimize procedures to move data science models to Production
Define and manage SLAs for data products and processes running in production
Support large-scale experimentation done by data scientists
Prototype new approaches and build solutions at scale
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or higher, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
Experience architecting Infrastructure as a Service capability leveraging virtual machines and virtual machine scale sets
Design/implementation experience in Data Analytics, and Machine Learning or Deep Learning Solutions
Advanced knowledge of data security concepts, best practices, and procedures
Advanced knowledge of security architectural designs, requirements development, and solutions definition
Working knowledge of architecture and design of solutions using cloud-based technologies
Programming expertise: Python, SQL, Serverless cloud programming (functions, lambdas, etc.)
Preferred cloud experience: AWS, GCP, Azure
Experience with Linux, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Experience with automation technologies like Ansible and Terraform
Design/implementation experience in Data Analytics, and Machine Learning or Deep Learning Solutions
Extensive project experience migrating from legacy systems and deploying complex cloud-based solutions
Project experience architecting, implementing, and optimizing core infrastructure, networking and cloud-based services for business teams or consumers
What you may bring

Advanced degree (Masters or higher)
