About Our Role
Due to internal growth, Simplot are seeking applicants for a rare opportunity in the full-time, permanent position of Talent Coordinator.
As a valued member of our Global Services team, the Talent Coordinator will focus on supporting our Australian based Talent Acquisition team in the delivery of full cycle recruitment activities across our manufacturing and corporate operations for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. Supporting the Talent Acquisition Partners in both high volume, hourly recruitment and salary recruitment activities by providing efficient, detailed, timely, and friendly administrative & coordination duties - this role plays an integral part in providing an exceptional candidate experience.
Partnering with both internal and external stakeholders, this Mon-Fri role will be based at our Devonport manufacturing facility (with occasional work from Simplot Ulverstone when required), and will require domestic travel to our APAC headquarters and manufacturing operations throughout Victoria and NSW.
What You Will Do
Playing an active, hands-on role in our diverse range of recruiting & business partnering activities - duties will include (but are not limited to)
Scheduling and preparation of screening activities including in-house and remote (online) aptitude testing
Schedule, prepare and participate in group interviews / assessments for volume hourly recruitment + scheduling of interviews for salary roles
Work with candidates to obtain evidence of, and verification of right to work documentation
Facilitate pre-employment due diligence activities including pre-employment medical bookings + verbal and written reference checks
Assist with assigning and receipting purchase orders / invoices for recruitment related expenses
Facilitate & distribute detailed weekly based status reports for APAC recruitment metrics to internal stakeholders
Booking of recruitment related candidate travel
Attend industry events e.g. careers expo / school careers days
Contribute to and participate in group continuous improvement (CI) activities
Interact with and participate in wider Talent / HR activities on a local, national and global level
About You
Demonstrated background within an administrative / clerical, detail focused, high volume role
Possess a 100% commitment to health and safety in the workplace
Exposure to the internal or external recruitment industry would be advantageous
Ability to work within and understand process driven framework
Willingness to engage and connect (in high volume) with a diverse range of candidates + internal + external stakeholders, both in-person and remotely (incl. via phone)
Possess a customer focused & collaborative mindset with high levels of both verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work within critical timelines whilst multitasking
Experienced in the use of Windows OS with an intermediate skillset in the MS Office suite of products
Ability to undertake interstate work travel on a semi-regular basis where required
