As a wmA Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with one of our largest Insurance customers, playing a pivotal role in various aspects of business analysis and process improvement. Your responsibilities will encompass requirements gathering, design, development, testing, maintenance, version upgrades, conversions, and migrations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • 4-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Life Insurance domain, specifically in Universal Life and Traditional Life Products.

  • Proficiency in Vantage/wmA (Wealth Management Accelerator).

  • Plan, design, and recommend business processes to enhance and support business activities.

  • Analyze and document client's business requirements and processes, communicating these requirements through conceptual data and process models, including data dictionaries and volume estimates.

  • Develop test scenarios and test plans to verify that client requirements are integrated into system design. Analyze testing results throughout the project.

  • Provide input into developing and modifying systems to meet client needs, developing business specifications to support these modifications.

  • Facilitate meetings with clients to gather and document requirements, exploring potential solutions.

  • Coordinate business analyst tasks on IT projects and provide support to team members.

  • Participate in technical reviews and inspections to ensure the 'intent of change' is carried out through the project.

  • 3+ years of experience in Mainframe technology is an added advantage.

  • Indexed product knowledge is an added advantage.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in business administration, information systems, or related field.

  • Three or more years of business analysis experience.

  • Experience working with the interface of information technology with functional groups within an organization.

  • Experience in business processes and re-engineering.

  • Familiarity with computer programming concepts and basic language.

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in presentation skills to communicate with management and customers.

  • Proficient in personal computer and business solutions software.

  • Ability to work in a team environment, multitask, and willingness to travel.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $66,500 - $123,400.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
