Intel SAP Master Data Migration Tech Lead in Raleigh, North Carolina

The Core Data Solutions (CDS) group within the Intel IT business segment is chartered with delivering and maintaining world-class data and analytics capabilities that equip the business to capture value through consistent, accurate, reliable, and high-quality data and cutting-edge data, reporting, and analytical solutions. Key focus areas for the Master Data Team include Material Master, Customer and Supplier, Finance Master, HR Mini-Master, Reference Data and other key data essential to the success of the ERP and Supply Chain Planning initiatives at Intel.

We are looking for a strong leader who will be responsible for our Data Cleansing, Conversion and Migration deliverables while at the same time defining, communicating, and overseeing our Master Data Straddle approach. The successful candidate will lead a global team of SW Engineers, who will matrix to them, to deliver the migration and straddle deliverables across all our Master Data domains (finance, customer, supplier, product, BOM, etc) and across all releases.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Drive a mix of technical and business stakeholders to meet Master Data commitments in Data Migration, Cleansing and Straddle initiatives.

  • Collect and analyze information from business stakeholders to formulate the scope and objectives of the system.

  • Lead the definition and breakdown of complex ideas into manageable and predictable tasks.

  • Communicate status and help-needed to Master Data Leadership as well as other stakeholders across ERP and SCP programs.

  • Leverage Agile methodology to design and configure solutions.

  • Experience leading a technical team, either in a direct or indirect leadership position.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related field and 6+ years of experience -OR- a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related field and 4+ years of experience in the following:

  • Developer, analyst and/or functional consultant on Azure, Cloud MDM, Reltio, SAP MDG, SAP MM, or similar enterprise master data systems or ERP systems.

  • Implementation of S4/HANA and/or a multitiered SAP environment (SAP MM, FI, CRM, or SRM modules).

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Material Master data and Bill of Material (BOM) configurations.

  • Direct experience in a large enterprise IT Transformation.

  • ABAP, including Reporting, Interface, Conversion, Enhancement and Forms (RICEF) with exceptional functional knowledge in the area of SAP MM and Fiori.

  • Managing or executing data cleansing data mapping and data governance areas preferably in an SAP environment as well as integration across complex ERP landscapes.

  • Interfacing SAP with legacy systems.

  • Developing processes tools and integration for Master Data Processes including data cleansing and data validation.

  • Mapping of Master data and integration from the legacy environment to the target environment.

  • Configuring and managing MDM entities for one or more master data domain ABAP, SAP Fiori, SAP PO and S/4 HANA, SQL Query.

  • Extended Program Check, Code Inspector, Dump analysis (ST22), Runtime Analysis (SE30), SQL Trace (ST05), ST12, SQL analysis, Work Process Overview, ATC for performance and quality management of ABAP programs.

  • TRFC, QRFC, Gateway Monitor, and OSS Note Analysis.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $144,501.00-$217,311.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
