Insight Global Product Manager in Redmond, Washington

Job Description

This large enterprise level company is looking to add a high level Product Manager to their Beta Testing team. This team runs the Beta Program for all devices across their organization. This person will be reporting directly to the Sr. Program Manager and take on many tasks that are already in play, such as managing the content and evaluation of new and existing prototypes, understand and respond to bug triaging and manage repairs. They will also be working closely with executive level staff in planning product launches. This person will be working with the Sr. Program Manager to maintain or lead initiatives that are currently being run by the Program Manager to facilitate and run the full life cycle. They will be responding to different partners in regard to bug triaging and understanding of how to troubleshoot, debug and triage hardware, devices or product issues and how to properly engage partner teams to escalate and problem solve. Someone who has worked with cross functional teams and lead projects would thrive in this environment. They will need to be a loyal and long-term partner to the team and organization; when needed, they will be running with the full program themselves. Someone who is highly organized, confidant and who has experience making large scale, highly visible and urgent decisions for a consumer product is required. Skills and Requirements

Experience working with devices or hardware in a high volume manufacturing environment

At least 5 years in a project manager or product manager role

Extremely organized, detail oriented self-driven and self-managed

Excellent written/verbal communication and customer service skills, including having worked directly with high level executives and presenting to a large cross-functional group

Must be able to represent this business function across the organization and make critical decisions about product launch readiness

Must have a strong sense of self and be confident pushing back on partner groups to determine product readiness

Must be comfortable leading the team or project if upper managers are unavailable

Must have an analytical mindset to troubleshoot and debug beta programs for the devices null
