The Contract Manager will lead contract management processes, and report to the Contract Management Leader, of the GE Vernova Solar & Storage Solutions business.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage solar power and battery energy storage systems (BESS) contracts commonly ranging in value from $10 million to $200 million US.

• Support Projects and Services team to execute customer contracts from contract finalization through contract close out, including change order and claim negotiation, and issue and dispute resolution.

• Communicate contract strategies, deliverables, risks, and opportunities as required internally within GE.

• Meet GE business expectations by managing safety, quality, schedule, cost, margin, cash flow, and risks.

• Protect GE’s reputation and technology in the market place.

• Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in all projects and services metrics.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or law

• Minimum 3 years of contract or project management experience

• Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time

Desired Characteristics:

• Position is based in Pittsburgh, PN, or Houston, TX, USA, or Schenectady, NY

• Fluent in the English language; oral and written, technical and commercial

• Proven track record of leading multi-cultural teams

• Strong interpersonal and influence skills

• Solar and/or BESS contract management experience

• GE Solar and Storage Solutions experience

• Lean continuous improvement experience
