In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and develop backend software for IoT cloud applications, for Fire, Refuse collection and Concrete mixer markets.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Application Development Planning – Participate in design requirement objectives and planning with analyst, supervisors, and clients to define development task and time-lines.

  • Design and Develop – Design, develop and test high quality real-time web applications, backend services and APIs for IoT products

  • Quality Assurance – Ensure high software quality through rigorous testing and development of automated unit tests.

  • Application Management - Use Atlassian tool chain to maintain and improve existing software platform.

  • Technical support – Provide technical assistance to fellow developers, engineers, customers and other departments as needed.

  • Cross functional Collaboration - Collaborate with embedded software engineers, product owner, product manager and participate in code reviews, story refinement, and other engineering activities.

  • Value Delivery – Incorporate SAFe/Agile principles for value delivery in short increments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

  • 3 or more years of experience developing responsive web applications

  • Experience in a combination of the following. C#, Python, Java, Micosoft.Net, ASP.Net [asp.net] (https://urldefense.com/v3/__http:/ASP.Net__;!!LDQub5sq!mwA4ZOHWTIIm-VDQW3Lxdkcn2ATD2VcvxytiGkmNkNAn2Kww9XWhjQ45pTzZg-zpdbI3Ty8ch_Q5Ju0W2_zL24Bza-U$) Core Visual Studio, XML, Java, SQL Server, Oracle, Angular 9+, Visual Studio Code) , Google Maps API, Here Maps API, Angular Material, Telerik, Ionic, HighCharts, Typescript or similar programming language.

  • Overall understanding and knowledge of servers, server applications, PC’s and hardware.

  • Experience in SQL (e.g., SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis)

  • Experience working with CICD tools and test automation.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong experience development of responsive IoT web applications

  • Extremely Creativity in finding new ways of doing things.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and communication skills.

  • Experience working in SAFe, Scrum or Agile environment.

  • Ability to thrive in a startup like culture, excels in ambiguous situations, and embraces technical challenges.
