What you’ll do:

The Payroll Consultant’s primary role is to support our internal and external partners to improve the payroll experience. The Consultant will be responsible for working with clients on payroll related items such as:

  • Payroll Vendor changes

  • Payroll file format changes

  • Feedback file set ups

  • Ensuring daily work is completed in a timely manner by monitoring workflow and escalating needs to leadership

What you have:

  • Advanced understanding of recordkeeping systems and other related software applications such as Excel

  • Identify and implement Best Practices among peers

  • Payroll system experience a plus

  • Identify, research and escalate/resolve issues

  • Demonstrate advanced decision making skills

  • Mentor fellow employees

  • Be able to train peers on all processes

  • SME (subject matter expert) of team functions

  • Ability to identify risk and create and implement controls to minimize the risk

  • Establish preventative measures

  • Create a strong stable relationship with internal and external clients

  • Participate in projects that involve implementation of new systems/processes

  • Ability to work independently

  • Able to complete advanced research items – eligibility issues, vesting issues, and work with internal partners for resolution or understanding of our systems
