Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Data Architect and Governance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our organization's data architecture while ensuring adherence to data governance principles and best practices. You will play a critical role in shaping our data infrastructure, working closely with our information technology team to build dashboards, supporting business objectives and drive informed decision-making across the organization.

Job Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity, security, and availability of our data assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce data standards, quality metrics, and data management processes. Lead the design and implementation of scalable and efficient data architectures, including data models, databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines. Develop and maintain financial dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, BPC, and Tableau enabling stakeholders to access real-time, actionable insights and track key performance indicators (KPIs). Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools to support data management, storage, processing, and analytics requirements. Define and document data architecture standards, patterns, and best practices, and ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements, identify opportunities for data-driven insights, and translate business needs into technical solutions. Partner with IT security and compliance teams to assess data risks, implement data security controls, and ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to raise awareness of data governance principles and promote a culture of data stewardship and accountability. Monitor and measure data governance and data architecture performance against established metrics and KPIs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives as needed. Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data management, governance, and analytics, and make recommendations for innovation and optimization. Serve as a subject matter expert on data architecture and governance matters, and represent the organization in internal and external forums as needed. Regularly report on activity status to program leadership; work with leadership to escalate and resolve risks and issues Other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field including Finance or Accounting; advanced degree preferred. 3 years of experience in data architecture, data governance, or related roles, with a proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions in complex environments. Understanding of data governance principles, data management practices, and regulatory requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proven leadership and team management abilities, with experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Microsoft Fabric) is highly desirable. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time and within budget. This combined role of Data Architect and Governance Manager equires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities to drive effective data management practices and ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
