Job description:

As a Service Delivery Lead - Azure, you will oversee technical support for analytics applications, vendor management, and system stability across Microsoft platforms. Familiarity with Azure stack technologies, Power BI, and data science tools is essential, along with proficiency in DevOps practices and Azure platform functionalities.

What you will do:

  • Provide technical support for analytics applications, vendor management, system stability, and platform governance for Microsoft platform applications (Synapse, Power BI, Azure Data Lake).

  • Lead the design and support of enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture.

  • Resolve complex technical problems.

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across various geographical locations.

  • Optimize the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools by defining data for filtering and indexing to add value for users.

  • Translate and communicate with business stakeholders, facilitating project transition from development to operations teams.

  • Onboard analytics applications into the current landscape for mergers and acquisitions.

  • Understand and ensure compliance with data privacy laws.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study preferred.

  • 9+ years of experience in Information Technology, including service delivery, change management, and experience in the following technologies:

  • ITIL Foundations v3 certification preferred.

  • Microsoft Azure certifications.

  • Expertise in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including analysis, design, development, and deployment of reports, forms, and queries.

  • Proficiency in software deployment processes such as Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

  • Experience supporting and delivering ETL/ELT pipelines, Business Intelligence, and Advanced Data Analytics.

  • Familiarity with Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions architecture.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure stack, data architecture, data modeling, visualization, and related technologies including Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, SQL, Spark, Power BI, and Azure DevOps.

  • Understanding of best practices in designing, building, and maintaining scalable distributed data processing solutions, performance optimization, DevOps practices, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and automation.

  • Knowledge of Identity Management, Security, Data Governance, and Operations on the Azure Platform.
