Walmart Connect (the digital ad sales arm for Walmart.com, Jet, Hayneedle, Online Grocery, Vudu, etc.) is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, and agencies. Our full funnel ad solutions leverage Walmart's in-store and online data, extensive reach, and to provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with Walmart consumers, and convert Walmart consumers to shoppers.

Walmart Connect is looking for an Onsite Display Analyst to join our team in San Bruno, CA; Hoboken, NJ; or Los Angeles, CA. We are looking for individuals who love digging into data, troubleshooting, learning new technologies and solving difficult problems. As a Senior Onsite Display Analyst, you will be the expert for all ad inventory within WMC's O&O properties.

Responsibilities

  • Manage campaign on Walmart Ad Center by providing campaign level optimization recommendations to the campaign management team through optimization strategies, campaign insights, monitoring and adjusting pacing to ensure all KPIs are met (delivery, performance, revenue goals, etc.)

  • Own key advertiser accounts for WMC's Onsite Display Managed Service, providing exemplary white glove service for these high-touch clients

  • Level 1 troubleshooting and technical support for WMC advertisers and ad campaigns

  • Develop, iterate and present on best practices for Onsite display optimization to internal and cross functional teams

  • Define the gaps in process and create documentations and SOPs to streamline work; and work with various cross functional team to achieve alignment

  • Be a subject matter expert for Walmart Connect's cross functional teams on Onsite Display

  • Test new products, tactics/audiences, platforms, inventory, creative formats, and optimization strategies to help evolve Walmart Ad Center and maximize revenue

  • Lead a small team for end-to-end completion of special projects

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on day-to-day knowledge of digital display media and process

  • Interview potential new-hires for team

  • Train new-hires on Walmart Connect's processes and best practices, QA and provide guidance for new-hire work, and assist new-hires with optimization strategies that drive WMC goals

  • Dive into investigations and communicate outcomes to management and leadership teams

  • Present unique findings, industry updates, team updates, best practices, etc. to the larger Rev Ops and Walmart Connect sales teams

  • Build ad hoc reports and standardize across team for short term usage until full automation is created & adopted; to mitigate risk and revenue loss, streamline daily work and reduce redundancy

  • Drive meetings with Rev Ops Data Insights team to escalate needs and features for dashboard and data ingestion needs

  • Collaborate closely with Product/PMMs team to escalate needs and features for Walmart Ad Center

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Digital ad ops, Digital media buying or planning, Programmatic buying or planning, or Analytics

  • Bachelor's degree or related work experience

  • Master of excel and formulas

  • Experience with Google Ad Manager required

  • A great depth of understanding on the online advertising industry: desktop, mobile (web/in-app), audience targeting, category targeting, search targeting

  • Fluency in the language of digital media and online measurement: impressions, CTR, CPMs, eCPMs, uniques, reach, win rate, bid rates, IVT, viewabililty, demo comps, ROAS, etc.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines

  • Strong knowledge of campaign lifecycle management, ad sales process, trafficking, QA, performance analytics/ reporting.

  • Comfortable working with large data sets using a variety of tools

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Passion for digital media and advertising technology

  • Team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, open environment

  • Strong ability to work with multiple cross functional teams

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. HOBOKEN, New Jersey US-10279/Los Angeles, California US-10988:The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00-$186,000.00

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00-$202,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
