Position Overview

We are adding a Mergers and Acquisitions Operations Analyst, PDMS to support acquired-company unintegrated business transactions and eventually help integrate the business into Autodesk. You will manage end-to-end order processing and be a critical part of Autodesk’s sales and customer support, ensuring our customers’ requests are actioned quickly, with care, understanding, and resolving issues as they arise. You will report to the Sr Director, FP&A PDMS, who is a member of the Autodesk Financial Planning & Analysis organization.

Depending on location, you will either be fully remote or hybrid (if commutable distance to an Autodesk office) with no weekly required days in the office. Office presence will be required with advance notice periodically for scheduled meetings and events.

Responsibilities

  • Process orders end-to-end, including:

  • Manage policy exceptions and document approvals

  • Submit and secure export control checks to the Global Trade Compliance team

  • Invoice customers/partners and manage accounts receivable collections

  • Fulfill orders by providing customers access to purchased software

  • Upload transaction support to central repository

  • Provide revenue accounting with month-end close package for revenue recognition

  • Communicate with customers/partners/sales teams across multiple modalities; including phone, chat, and email to alert customers of upcoming renewals, address issues related to product access and fulfillment, and answer any other questions related to order processing

  • Identify ideas for process improvements, system enhancements, or automation to reduce efforts for customers and internal co-workers​

Minimum Qualifications

  • Fluent in English

  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience invoicing customers/partners or working in customer service

  • At least 3 years using Microsoft Excel (lookups and PivotTables) and previous experience working in an ERP (e.g. SAP, Quickbooks, Netsuite etc.)

  • Comfortable training and working in a remote environment with global collaborators

  • Experience delivering accurate results when validating at least 8 data fields

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $53,300 and $91,850. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
