Amazon Social Responsibility Program Manager LATAM in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Description

LATAM's Operations team is seeking a Sr. Program Manager for HRDD with a proven delivery record and project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional projects and programs. This role will partner with Amazon’s Worldwide Social Responsibility (WWSR) team who drives customer trust, business continuity, and sustainable social impact by embedding respect for human rights throughout Amazon’s entire value chain, and sets and implements company-wide standards and commitments (such as our Global Human Rights Principles and Supply Chain Standards). This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution on business reviews, deep stakeholder engagement, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.

Key job responsibilities

Own coordination and tracking with business, procurement, and partner teams for managing remediation activities for LATAM, including creation and maintenance of dashboards and other reporting tools for sharing progress toward remediation of risks.

Define and execute RACI among business and partner/support teams in LATAM for SR-related work (audits, remediation, government engagement, vendor engagement, contracts, onboarding, accountability).

Partner closely across all miles (First Mile, Middle Mile, Last Mile, FC and GSF), various partner functions (RME, GES, S&LP, AHS and ACS) and WWSR to implement and build scalable mechanisms and programmatic approaches to drive compliance to Amazon supply chain standards.

Define mechanisms and standard approaches across business functions to drive compliance to Amazon’s Supply Chain Standards.

Coordinate with in-business SR PMs across other Ops regions to provide content and data for reporting mechanisms.

Partner with business teams to implement and deploy social responsibility standards across the business.

Participate in meetings related to compliance with Amazon SCS to make connections and drive visibility across the business functions where similar work is occurring.

Partner with WWSR SMEs to work social responsibility and human rights training into Ops leadership onboarding.

Define BU-level goals related to social responsibility.

A day in the life

Coordinate Human Rights Due Diligence actions and projects with World Wide Social Responsability and Ops teams and support areas for Brazil and Mexico.

The Operations team is at the heart of Amazon's customer-focused success, delivering hundreds of thousands of packages daily. In this role, you will partner closely with Operations and other teams to provide financial inputs and drive continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

- - Proficiency in Portuguese, English and Spanish

- - Bachelor's degree

- - Experience as project/program manager

- - Knowledge about labor legislation for Mexico and Brazil

- - Experience in Social Responsibility and/or Human Rights area

Preferred Qualifications

- - Experience with six sigma methodologies
