Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Communication Specialist based in Sarasota, Florida. The chosen candidate will be responsible for updating and managing our website content, handling social media channels, and creating engaging content to share with the marketplace. This role is crucial for keeping our audience informed and excited about our industry.

Responsibilities:

• Keep our website up-to-date by regularly adding and editing content

• Manage our social media presence on platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter

• Craft and distribute press releases to share important information with our audience

• Engage in content creation that could potentially evolve into ghost writing and thought leadership

• Develop content that stimulates interest and excitement about our industry

• Utilize skills in Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, Wix, and Content Creation to perform tasks effectively and efficiently. Requirements • Proven experience as a Communication Specialist or similar role

• Strong knowledge of Corporate Communications

• Proficient understanding of Internal Communications

• Experience in using Wix for website management and content creation

• Solid experience in content creation and copywriting

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders

• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Familiarity with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field is preferred

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining close attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
