This position will collaborate with members of the Team to develop and deliver ETL (Extract, Transformation, and Load) applications using data warehouse design best practices. This role will also analyze data requirements, complex source data, target data models and is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes for the EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse), data marts, and outbound data delivery. This position will also document data flows, provide supporting documenting, and communicate impact of changes and required development to technical and non-technical staff. Develop ETL workflows and mappings to extract, transform, and load data into target environments. Develop test plans and perform unit testing of own work. Create supporting documentation for new ETL processes. Identify opportunities for improving efficiency and effectiveness of processes and controls. Use standard ETL toolsets to develop and test ETL workflows. Work closely with data analysts within Data Warehouse Team to gain an understanding of the business processes and corporate data. Determine impacts of data warehouse structures and information flows due to changes in business or technical requirements. Perform, root cause analysis, and contribute to the remediation planning and implementation. Perform data quality analysis, report data quality issues, and propose solutions for data quality management. Participate in on-call rotation (after hours, nights and weekends).
