Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a PC Technician in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role revolves around the tech industry, where you'll be tasked with moving equipment, setting up monitors on desks, and ensuring a clean install and cable management. Your workplace will be a professional desktop environment where you will utilize your skills in cabling and managing the desktop environment.

Responsibilities:

• Move equipment as per the requirements and ensure its proper setup.

• Place monitors on desks, ensuring they are properly secured and positioned for optimal user comfort and efficiency.

• Plug in display and power cables into docking stations, guaranteeing a secure and stable connection for uninterrupted operations.

• Test the setup post-installation to ensure all systems are operational and functioning as expected.

• Manage cables efficiently to prevent tangling and damage, promoting a clean and professional workspace.

• Respond to any issues or inquiries related to the equipment setup, providing timely and effective solutions.

• Monitor and maintain the desktop environment, ensuring it remains conducive for work and free from technical issues.

• Adhere to safety standards while moving and setting up equipment to prevent any accidents or damage.

• Regularly update your knowledge and skills related to cabling and desktop environment management to improve work efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements • Proficient in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software systems.

• Knowledge and experience in managing and maintaining desktop environments.

• Ability to perform cabling tasks including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Understanding of networking principles and network infrastructure.

• Experience in diagnosing and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.

• Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate complex technical information to non-technical users.

• Proficient in working with a variety of operating systems including Windows, MacOS, and Linux.

• Experience in managing IT inventory and maintaining accurate records.

• Knowledge and understanding of IT security principles and practices.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
