The Role: The Associate Director of Development (ADOD) is an externally facing position that is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of prospective and current donors to CWU, including alumni, parents, friends, and other constituents' groups. The ADOD will focus on fundraising priorities articulated by university leadership. The ADOD may be assigned to a specific school, college or unit or may be assigned regionally to represent broader university priorities. The ADOD has a focus of activity on leadership annual giving and mid-level gifts ($1,000 - $24,999) and will manage a portfolio of mid-level gift donors and prospects. This position will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors by engaging prospects through a variety of mediums (face-to-face, virtual, phone or in writing). Travel throughout Washington state and occasional out of state travel is required.
