This role is part of Enterprise Technology (ET), where we're developing the digital infrastructure needed to build the road to space, with an emphasis on digital capabilities required to advance Blue Origin's mission. Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and tools to automate network design, deployment, and operational management processes, with a focus on Juniper Networks devices and solutions. Work closely with network and security engineers translating network security requirements into automated workflows. Develop and maintain network device templates and configurations. Implement and manage network automation solutions using tools such as Ansible and Python. Integrate automation tools with other systems for monitoring and configuration control. Code review, testing, and validation of automation scripts and tools to ensure reliability and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts and network operations. Conduct training sessions and documentation to upskill staff in the use of network automation tools and best practices. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of recent and continuous experience at minimum of a mid-level network engineer 3+ years coding, scripting for complex networking environments 3+ years demonstratable experience with tooling, orchestration, and automation in a Linux environment (Python, Ansible) Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with networking cloud and on-premises based infrastructure Familiarity with the Juniper networking platform (JNCIS-DevOps a plus) Familiarity with the Palo Alto security platform Experience in aerospace, corporate, industrial and manufacturing environments Inclusivity Statement Don't meet all desired requirements?
