Job Description: Amergis, a reputable organization, supporting school districts all over Los Angeles County. Amergis, is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to work in a school setting. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with behavioral needs. This position involves implementing behavior intervention plans, collaborating with educators, and ensuring a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

• Provide one-on-one support to students in classrooms.

• Collect data on student behavior and progress.

• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment.

• Assist in crisis management and de-escalation when necessary.

  Qualifications:

• High School Diploma with at least one completed college course.

• Passion for working with children and adolescents.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience in a school or educational setting is preferred.
