The Cigna Group Finance/Billing Analyst - HYBRID in St. Louis, Missouri

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Finance professional with experience in Federal Government billing and reporting. As a member of the Government Finance team, you will work closely with Federal Government Finance, Contracts, and Account Management teams to create billings and vouchers in accordance with the contractual terms of Express Scripts’ DoD Tricare Contract. The right candidate will serve as a subject matter expert who coordinates billings and documentation, all in the interest of positively impacting ESI’s revenue.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with cross functional team to identify when billable events have occurred and prepare appropriate billings for submittal.

  • Provide technical support to electronically submit billings in Government systems for payment.

  • Monitor submittal of billings and payments using tracking log and provide updates to multiple stakeholders.

  • Perform reconciliation of billings to payment data.

  • Submit electronic payment for monthly Audit findings.

  • Analyze data to ensure complete and accurate supporting information is provided to the client.

  • Track key performance indicators and provide periodic reporting to management.

  • Perform additional duties as needs and responsibilities change.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field or 3+ years work experience in related field.

  • Experience with Federal Government Contracting including billings and payment systems.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel or other PC based database tools.

  • Exceptional executive presence in written and verbal communications with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills necessary to prioritize and accomplish a large number of tasks within a specified timeframe.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to adapt to tactical needs in a fast-paced and changing environment .

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
