Job Description
As the Senior Systems Administrator , you will work to deliver highly available systems that balance security with business needs. This role requires extensive knowledge and “hands on” experience with building and maintaining both On-Prem VMWare Server farms and Hyper-V Azure Cloud Server farms. This role also requires a “hands-on” working knowledge of Citrix farms both On-Prem and In-cloud. Position responsibilities include daily administration, monitoring, and support of 300+ Windows servers, data governance, system backups, data center environmental and disaster recovery support.
The Senior Systems Administrator reports directly to the IT Infrastructure Manager and collaborates with regional and global Infrastructure teams. This position must be able to understand and problem-solve in complex situations using a wide variety of internal and external resources. This position may be required to be available after hours and on weekends.
The IT Systems Administrator III will be responsible for the conception, implementation and operation of local IT solutions on a functional level, as well as enhancements of the existing local environment. This position assists in planning and implementation of Infrastructure IT projects and optimizes the working environment for the users.
Will also consider a “strong” Level II Systems Administrator Candidate with above competencies looking to move up to that next step.

Conception and optimization of the existing local/regional server, storage, client and network environment
Administration and maintenance of local/regional File and Print-Services, MS Teams, Remote Desktop Services
SAP Platform Utilization and Services
Administration and maintenance of local/regional/global Active Directory Structure and Citrix Environment
Work closely with all other Global IT Infrastructure Teams and the IT Global Infrastructure Service Provider Teams.
Monitoring of server- and network environments
Working knowledge of Office 365 Services preferred
Administration of local/regional VMWare/Hyper-V Server virtualization environments and storage systems
Supporting service requests and trouble-shooting within the 2nd level support
Execution of analysis for the client requirements, developing of concepts and designing of IT architecture on bases of ICL´s strategy
Work according to ICL and ITIL standards, creating the documentation for implementation and updates in the local infrastructure services as described in the Change Management process; while completing the configuration and initial technical testing of local/regional Change Requests approved
Maintain documentation and procedural changes to local Infrastructure environment.

What will set me apart?
Working experience with Microsoft and Citrix technologies and products (required)
Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 (required)
2-year technical degree or professional certification with 3 years of experience is preferred (minimum H.S. diploma or equivalent with 5 years of experience)
Minimum of 3 years of general IT operational experience (desired)
Minimum of 2 years of experience with working in international and distributed IT environments (desired)
Experience with Service Desk Platforms (BMC Remedy preferred)
Working experience with project management and technical skill with ITIL
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Experience with virtualized servers utilizing VMware ESXi and Virtual Center implementations; and virtualized DRP solutions
Experience with VMWare System monitoring and system flow enhancements (tuning).
Experience MS Azure and AWS cloud platform computing methodologies and systems structure
Experience with Infrastructure Networking, components, tools and services.
Experience with Firewalls, DMZ and other security platforms.
Experience with Systems Monitoring tools.
Experience with Disaster Recovery Infrastructure Platforms and Technologies.
Experience with Global Enterprise Active Directory Structure, Trees and Support functions
Short Description
Salary Range: $70,000 - $113,000
Annual Bonus Target: 7%, subject to plan provisions.
