Description

We are in search of a meticulous Accounting Specialist to join our client's team based in St. Paul, Minnesota. The selected candidate will be primarily tasked with managing customer credit applications, maintaining precise records, and addressing credit-related inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer credit accounts and initiating action for overdue payments. This job offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintaining precise records of customer credit.

• Resolving customer inquiries related to credit.

• Monitoring customer credit accounts regularly.

• Initiating appropriate actions for delinquent payments.

• Proficient use of QuickBooks Online for various accounting functions.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.

• Ensuring timely check processing and maintaining records.

Requirements

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Experience in handling diverse Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Check Processing

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented, with high levels of accuracy and efficiency

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred

• Understanding of accounting principles and regulations

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

• Prior experience in a similar role is desirable.
