Google Principal Strategist, Google Cloud in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in customer-facing roles (including presentations, keynotes, demos, etc.).

  • 10 years of experience in cloud and enterprise solutions architecting, consulting, or technical pre-sales solution-promoting roles.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in a customer-facing role, public speaking, (presentations, keynotes, demos, etc.).

  • 5 years of experience influencing stakeholders from business and technical backgrounds by assessing customer pain points, crafting narratives, and collaborating on demo development.

  • Experience in Cloud-native architectures, enterprise solutions architecting, consulting, and/or technical pre-sales solution-promoting roles.

  • Understanding of technologies ranging from traditional infrastructure to modern generative AI systems.

  • Ability to present solutions aligned to strategic goals and influence key stakeholders including the C-suite, Vice Presidents, etc.

  • Strong technical promoting skills, including the ability to bring innovative solutions to customer challenges.

As the Business Strategist Lead, you will be driving consistent, impactful business and technology narratives with our customers. With an increased focus on Generative AI and the associated business use-cases, you will be especially adept at translating the latest technology trends and breakthroughs into impactful briefing material for executive customers. Through the use of demos, experiences, and other forms of briefing content, you will craft compelling and engaging demos, documentation, and other assets to be used across the Cloud Space global footprint.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Inspire executives, technology influencers, and business decision makers alike by facilitating engaging conversations, technical discussions, and demonstrations in Cloud Space | Silicon Valley or Cloud Space | New York.

  • Build a global community of demo engineers to deliver in-region offerings and continuously nurture and understand feedbacks and patterns that can be quickly fed back into our solutions.

  • Influence strategic deals collaborating with sales to inspire executive-level, Technical and Business Decision Makers on what they are able to achieve by using the cutting-edge set of innovative technology Google provides.

  • Facilitate business and technical discussions with customers, partners, and Googlers as needed through all phases of customer engagement.

  • Partner with Googlers across Sales, Engineering, and Marketing to help drive the development of compelling new demos, content, and technology showcases.
