Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Advancement for the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, the Director of Development serves as a major gift front-line fundraiser. Primary duties include further developing relationships with and soliciting existing Maxwell School prospects for annual and major gifts, as well as qualifying a large pool of identified alumni who have the capacity to support the priorities of the Maxwell School at a major gift level.

This position is anticipated to be filled in the Syracuse, New York area. Candidates may be considered on a fully remote basis if residing outside of the Syracuse/Central New York area. Not all geographical areas within the United States are eligible. Candidates residing in the East Coast/Mid-Atlantic Region are preferred.
