• 6 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.

• 6 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.

• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

• Experience working with C++ and Python.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.

• 6 years of experience developing on Linux.

• 6 years of experience with performance systems data analysis, diagnostics tools, and debugging.

• Experience in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.

• Lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide on available technologies.

• Lead members to innovation or enhancement for diagnostic infrastructure.

• Design, plan, implement, and debug for diagnostic tools in the Google Cloud platform.

• Enhance the quality, performance processes, or coverage of the diagnostic tool or utility of the Google Cloud platform.

• Collaborate with Google Software, Firmware, and Hardware team to design, plan, implement and debug.
