About Bureau Veritas Power

Bureau Veritas Power provides comprehensive construction management, project management and technical advisory services to the utility-scale renewable-energy markets, including the wind, solar, battery-energy storage, and transmission sectors. Our subject matter experts are advocates for your project through its entire lifecycle, ensuring success through the owner’s engineering, preconstruction, and on-site owner’s representation stages.

Bureau Veritas (BV) began providing code compliance services to the California Energy Commission in 2011. The group played a pivotal role in shepherding more than 35 utility-scale renewable generation projects to successful completion. Additionally, the group supported more than 10 transmission and distribution projects across the state.

Ten years later, in April 2021, Bureau Veritas significantly expanded its renewable-energy service capabilities with the acquisition of Dallas-based Bradley Construction Management. Bradley (now Bureau Veritas) founded in 2013, has managed and consulted on the construction of more than 18,000 MW of renewable-energy and transmission projects across the entire U.S. Bureau Veritas continues to grow its completed project portfolio and geographic reach, while strengthening its position as the market leader in the management of utility-scale projects.

Bureau Veritas has successfully managed and consulted on the construction of more than 90 solar, battery storage, wind, and transmission projects throughout the United States. The following map is a visual representation of our footprint across North America.

About BVNA Infrastructure

BVNA Infrastructure, formerly known as PreScience Corporation, traces its lineage to Lim And Nascimento (LAN) Engineering (founded in 1994), with core practice in design as well as construction management of highway, bridge, and rail projects. At the time of the LAN-AECOM merger in 2009, LAN, consisting of more than 200 professionals, had established itself as one of the largest transportation consulting firms in California. It had a reputation for working closely with owners and project stakeholders to successfully deliver projects with a high level of community acceptance. In 2013, the former LAN principals established PreScience, a California corporation, based on the same founding principle of ‘placing the interests of our clients and the projects we serve above everything else’.

In a mere 7 years since inception, we have emerged as one of California’s leading Project Management (PM), Construction Management (CM), Construction Engineering and Inspection (CM-CEI) and Materials Engineering (ME) firm, comprised of over 70 professionals (including 20 registered California Professional Engineers) engaged in supporting project delivery with exceptional outcomes.

As we make strides in outstanding project delivery, we are embracing the future by setting goals for innovation. By utilizing digital technology and innovative methods, our construction managers are positively influencing project outcomes, enhancing progress reporting, and improving communication. We are also investing in the future by building a workforce replete with recent graduates/interns who bring talent and ideas. We offer them limitless career potential to deploy their education and knowledge in delivering game-changing projects. Having built a reputation for excellence in transportation, we are exploring opportunities to diversify into other infrastructure segments including water, ports, and buildings/facilities.

At BVNA Infrastructure (formerly PreScience) we firmly believe that ‘people, not companies, deliver successful projects.’ Our corporate structure is efficient, non-hierarchical, and versatile. From the CEO to the intern, each individual is ‘boots-on-the-ground,’ ‘hands-on’ engaged in project delivery. Our efficiency is also reflected in the project teams we assemble for our clients, comprised of cross-trained, multi-tasking individuals who accomplish the project goals. We are known in the industry for our accessibility, responsiveness, and flexibility.
