Kenvue is currently recruiting a PR Specialist. This position reports into Senior Manager, External Communications, and is based in Tokyo, Japan.

What will you do

The PR Specialist is primarily responsible for executing of PR plans and media relations to drive the growth for iconic brands such as Listerine, BAND-AID, Neutrogena, JOHNSON’s in Japan.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional members in Brand marketing, R&D, Regulatory affairs, etc., as well as external agencies to develop and execute effective PR plans to maximize the reach and engagement with consumers and key stakeholders including media and influencers.

  • Work closely with PR agencies and manage media relations including photo shoot/interview requests.

  • Proofread and edit articles and materials such as press releases, factbooks, and social media content.

  • Proven experience as public relations professional

  • Results-oriented strategic problem solver; ability to identify and prioritize key opportunities and execute with excellence.

  • Strong project management skills and experience in managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (native speaker of Japanese/business level English a plus)

  • Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team toward collective success

  • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and frequent changes.
