Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build out prototypes into experiments for augmented reality. The Software Engineer will be accountable to learn pieces of technology code, helping build the expertise in engineering, analyze data from experiments, draw insights on core research problems, while working alongside cutting edge research teams, designers, and prototypers. They will help evaluate how people learn to interact with gestures, supported by the wearable devices. The clients' goal is to explore, concept, and design novel interfaces and input devices for the next generation of AR/VR/mixed reality experiences. They are driving research towards a vision of an "always-on" AR device that can provide assistance in real-world tasks in natural environments. The ideal candidate will have a background in human-computer interaction, neuroscience, cognitive science, and/or psychology, in order to contribute to the modeling research and develop methods to help people learn how to interact with these next-gen systems.

Skills and Requirements

• BS degree in computer science, human-computer interaction, neuroscience, or related field

-3+ years experience developing gesture recognizers, machine learning, or data science for the purposes of modeling human input with prototype interaction hardware

-2+ years experience of one or more programming languages, such as Python or C++, and experience with machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-Learn

• 1+ years of experience in machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and neural networks

• 1+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git - MSc or PhD degree in computer science, human-computer interaction, data science, neuroscience, or related field

• Experience with AR/VR, Unity

-Experience developing interactive human-in-the-loop machine learning applications

-Experience with C+-Familiar with logging framework and instrumentation null
