Processes enrollments and prepares certificates in an accurate and timely manner to ensure accurate carrier processing of enrollments.

Required Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process enrollments for medical, dental, and ancillary lines of coverage in several different data systems.

  • Meet 96% accuracy requirement within a 48-hour turnaround requirement.

  • Escalate difficult problems to Sr. Enrollment Technician, Supervisor, or Manager.

  • Research to ensure enrollment request meets eligibility requirements

  • Document and maintain issues in systems tracking data base.

  • Prepare and fax enrollment correspondence using several data systems.

  • Communicate with carriers in regard to enrollment issues/discrepancies.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Physical requirements include sitting, frequently speaking and hearing, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, crawling, kneeling and the ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two (2) years related experience.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook Exchange; proficient with web browsers.

  • Work occasional long and irregular hours

  • Accurate data entry, tracking and overall management of form information.

  • Good communication skills -Telephone, Email and Correspondence Etiquette.

  • Have basic math aptitude.

  • Read and comprehend job-related documents.

  • Determine what process guidelines to apply

  • Determine when problems need to be escalated.

  • Work in and contribute to a positive team environment.

  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
