Miami County Intermittent Facilities Specialist (Summer Help) in Troy, Ohio

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is for an Intermittent Facilities Specialist (Summer Help) who focuses on assisting our facilities department in grounds keeping, the care of buildings and equipment, general maintenance and Community Capital residential properties in Miami, Shelby, and Champaign counties.

 

As an employee of the Miami County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Riverside), the job incumbent shall always comply with all Board policies, and shall demonstrate respect for, support the dignity of, and observe the rights of all individuals served by the Board and demonstrate sensitivity to diverse beliefs, cultures, values, and family structures.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong oral communication skills. Ability to abide by Riverside's Code of Conduct. Satisfactory Criminal Background and Abuser Registry checks. Satisfactory Pre-Employment Drug Test and Physical. Possess valid State of Ohio driver's license.

 

DUTIES: Maintains a safe environment within and outside of the Riverside facility and all Community Capital residential properties. Provide grounds keeping, general maintenance and repair. Works independently to problem solve and complete projects. Completes all assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner.

HOURS 40 hours per week, Summer help FLSA Non-Exempt from Overtime COMPENSATION $12.15 per hour/DOQ POSTING DATES 5/2/2024 - 5/23/2024
