Job Summary:

Raytheon is seeking an experienced Program Management, Planning & Scheduling professional to join the Program Design & Planning organization. You will be assigned work on a program within the Naval Power Planning portfolio of programs and will be the focal point for matters pertaining to schedule in a particular program area portfolio. You will be accountable for adherence to Raytheon and government policies and best practices in the area of scheduling/EV.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Lead a team of Planning professionals supporting multiple programs with varying requirements

  • Support development and maintenance of program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project, based on requirements and scope provided by the customer

  • Detail plan and maintain the IMS throughout the program’s lifecycle that incorporates contractual and programmatic changes into the IMS in order to maintain realistic, current contract schedule baselines

  • Ensure the IMS is compliant with government customer requirements throughout all program phases

  • Ensure the IMS is resource loaded for applicable scope with target budgets and demonstrates thorough cost and schedule integration

  • Lead and conduct detailed performance capture and analysis of the IMS and supporting documents to ensure quality, completeness and compliance.

  • Support EAC and LRE processes as they relate to the Program IMS

  • Lead the development and maintenance of the Program Master Phasing Schedule using Milestones Professional Software.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study and a mi nimum of 8 years of professional experience in Program Management and/or Program Planning & Scheduling or an Advance degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience.

  • Prior work experience using software designed for creating and maintaining industry related schedules. (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar scheduling software)

  • Prior work experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and/or evaluating critical path and/or workflow.

  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process

  • Active and Transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with Agile planning and execution

  • Experience leading planning effort on a program with external EV reporting and DFARS EV clause invoked.

  • Experience with DCMA and JSR audit

  • Experience with integration of subcontractors and operations into program plans, schedules and financial tracking.

  • Proficiency with PMX tool suite or similar program management systems

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
