Amazon Interim Trainer in Union City, Georgia

Description

The Interim Trainer is assigned to the Learning Department and will hold responsibilities specific to that area. This position will support the Learning Department. Overall responsibilities will include the following functions:

.

• Plan, facilitate, and execute logistics for FC courses drawing participants from around the globe.

• Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate training-related programs.

• Assure trainees are given accurate and useful information on an ongoing basis, including frequent verbal feedback.

• Develop and track effectiveness of training programs, including orientation. Using feedback, continuously strive for improved training programs and processes.

• Actively seek ongoing skill development (i.e., participating and conducting skill classes, cross-training, etc.).

• Document feedback results to help the learning department identify strengths as well as area of improvement.

• Assess development needs for individuals and groups.

• Fully understand workflow and daily production goals.

• Problem solving responsibilities: react quickly and productively, serving as a resource for specific problems and undertaking the appropriate steps to resolve.

• Balance and prioritize multiple tasks.

• Maintain a positive attitude and presence on the floor.

Union City, GA, USA

Basic Qualifications

• Proficiency in computer usage, email, MS Office Suite

• Understanding of fulfillment center processes and flow

• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, as well as continuously climb and descend stairs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering training/information to peers, hourly associates, and senior management, both individually and in groups

• Experience delivering messages related to performance

• A completed Bachelor’s Degree

• Ability to give and receive feedback effectively

• Ability to prioritize, manage and complete projects with tight deadlines.

• Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.

• Desire to thrive in a dynamic, growing environment.

• No written warnings in the last 90 days
