Job Summary:

R3 is seeking an individual to advise and assist the Expeditionary Exploitation Unit ONE (EXU-1) N2/Intelligence Department. This position supports a diverse team and will perform duties involving coordination and facilitation of select CONUS/OCONUS intelligence requirements associated with EXU-1. This position encompasses tasks that provide subject matter expertise (SME) to advise and assist commanders with the management of relations with the US Intelligence Community (IC). This SME may also provide mentorship to military personnel, assist with program management, provide advice on developing/revising foundational documents and processes, and perform as liaison with the broader US Interagency (IA) community. The SME will work with/by/and through the EXU-1 and the N2 team to implement the government's strategies to meet expected operational goals, analyze risks, and deploy solutions with respect to matters of significance within the areas identified below.

Duties and Responsivities:

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships and communication with the IC.

  • Advise and assist with dissemination of exploitation intelligence products, and the development of Navy and Joint exploitation-related policy and doctrine.

  • Facilitate and coordinate with US intelligence community and interagency (IC, IA), USSOCOM and FVEY/Foreign nation partners for engagements of interest to EXU-1.

  • Develop/Maintain liaison relationships with IC, IA and DoD to enable the acquisition, identification, render safe, exploitation and analysis of conventional and improvised ordnance that provide time-sensitive technical intelligence.

  • Assist with coordination between deployed EXU-1 and IC, IA and EOD commands with technical and operational intelligence. Provide reach back as needed.

  • Maintain NIPR, SIPR and JWICS accounts and EXU-1 portals as needed.

  • Facilitate, coordinate, deliver CONUS/OCONUS intelligence related courses of instruction in support of EXU-1 deployments.

  • Collaborate with IC to facilitate access for EXU-1. Assist with identification of ordnance and device types (classified, and/or unclassified) on which to focus analytic efforts.

  • Assist with the development of briefs regarding exploitation related subject matter in support of senior-level strategic events for US Government Executive and Legislative Branch Delegations, DoD, and Partner Nations.

  • Advise and assist with assessments that characterize operational deficiencies and needs with respect to equipment, facilities, and manpower; participate with the development of recommendations / COAs for material and non-material solutions to house, man and equip the EXU-1 exploitation capability.

  • Other duties as assigned by the R3 Program Manager and/or specified in the contract Performance Work Statement (PWS).

  • Perform duties effectively with minimal supervision.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 15 years IC, IA, USSOCOM and EOD experience.

  • Graduate of the U.S. Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCOLEOD).

  • Must have experience working with USSOCOM and US Navy EOD Staff.

  • Must have experience working with: US Intelligence Community and Interagency.

  • Must have DoD TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.

  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office suite.
