Job Description

The Oracle Construction & Engineering Global Business Unit (CEGBU) is growing its Cloud Operations team. We are looking for talented individuals who, as part of this team, will work with the latest technology offered for hosting CEGBU SaaS products, in Oracle’s next-generation cloud infrastructure, OCI. As part of your daily tasks you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining various CEGBU multi-tenant cloud offerings. Other tasks will include support escalations, monitoring product stability and usability, overseeing maintenance and patching as well as installation and configuration tasks, as directed. The CEGBU Cloud Operations team works closely with the CEGBU Development team, as well as other Oracle teams directly involved in Oracle’s OCI / CNE Cloud offerings.

Responsibilities

You will provide environment support to internal Oracle teams, including Development, for resolution of problems related to the use of and maintenance of the Oracle CEGBU SaaS offerings. As your knowledge level increases, you will be asked to manage critical incidents and escalations, including disaster recovery scenarios.

You will develop an in-depth working knowledge of these products and/or platforms they run on. You will be able to complete assigned duties with minimal directions from management. Routinely, you will act independently while researching and developing solutions for customer reported issues.

Outside of escalation and advanced troubleshooting, our team is also responsible for such things as analytics/forecasting, monitoring/automation and improving repeatable process to better allow the level-one support team to be successful.
