Location: Waltham, MA

Reporting to: GBS Finance Director

Job Summary:

The FP&A Finance Manager plays a crucial role in providing financial business partnering support to our Global Business Services (GBS) and Corporate Finance leaders. As a member of a global collaborative team, the Finance Manager is responsible for various key responsibilities and tasks. The ideal candidate has a proven record as an experienced high potential talent demonstrating drive, ambition, financial and analytical acuity, and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the key Finance business partner for Global Business Services (GBS), including key support for multiple VPs / functional leaders.

  • Lead the GBS functions monthly close and forecast process.

  • Lead the consolidated forecast and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process.

  • Provide decision support analysis to the GBS functional leaders and Corporate Finance leadership team through routine financial updates and as needed ad-hoc analysis.

  • Lead the CAPEX reporting and forecasting process.

  • Coordinate and prepare the GBS Quarterly Business Reviews.

  • Review monthly accounting journal entries and provide variance analysis on operating expenses.

  • Support standardization and continuous improvement of existing processes within the organization, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Other ad hoc projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA or CMA/CPA/CFA preferred)

  • 6 years of financial management experience

  • Strong leadership skills working with global teams, driving accountability, and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Communication: Clear and concise written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in the following areas: financial analysis and reporting, forecasting, and technical accounting knowledge.

  • Strong business insights as well as the ability to make logical assumptions, identify trends, incorporate external and internal information, and effectively benchmark results against appropriate baselines.

  • Proven history of working cross functionally and build organizational relationships with customers, peers, and operating partners.

  • It is required that the candidate can manage multiple assignments, has independence of judgment, and prioritizes projects and time effectively.

  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and ‘zooms in or out’ based on the audience and data at hand.

  • Ability to elevate discussions and materials to a senior leadership level.

  • Navigates the interplay between all financial systems (E1, SAP, EDW, Hyperion Planning, HFM/CMR).

  • Balances multiple projects with ease.

  • Operates well in a fast-paced, heavily matrixed environment.
