Amazon Advertising Global Growth Sales team is seeking to hire a New Business Acquisition Lead within its successful Global Online Display Advertising business. In this role, you will be part of an amazing team where teamwork and collaboration is fostered by all, across borders and groups. This role combines the creative process of designing prescriptive programs and strategies, with the “business end” of operationalizing these programs with sales teams to ensure they are executed and produce results.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has the ability to act as a trusted adviser and business partner to Sales leaders, while working cross functionally with sales strategy, corporate marketing, product marketing, and enablement.

  • Is comfortable with complex data sets, adept at prescribing and prioritizing technology solutions to meet business problems, and is comfortable presenting to VP+ stakeholders

  • Is an analytical thinker who can demonstrate teamwork, relationship building and ability to influence others.

  • Thrives in fast paced dynamic environments and has very strong communication and presentation skills.

Key job responsibilities

· Generate new business opportunities to the sales team through specific channels.

· Create a scalable mechanism to generate and track all sales leads.

· Work in close alignment with sales leaders and other applicable partners to launch lead sourcing campaigns for the sales teams, identify key targets and build out the contact database.

· Develop relationships with sales leaders to drive leads to opportunities and shepherd those opportunities to closure.

· Regularly brief sales leaders.

· Partner with marketing to effectively capitalize on events and marketing campaigns by developing and executing comprehensive campaign plans.

· Use salesforce.com tools to ensure all data is captured, tracked, and qualified leads are entered and assigned to appropriate resources.

· Indirectly drive revenue and market share by service across all assigned market segments and meet or exceed assigned performance targets.

· Ensure full engagement of sales teams in relevant demand generation actions.

· Create and own a consolidated demand generation plan/calendar to meet pipeline generation targets, taking into account sales priorities for the sales teams.

· Create and drive programs including planning process, involving key stakeholders in business development, sales and sales management, aligning with marketing plans where possible

Basic Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in sales readiness, programs or business development preferably in a high tech environment.

· Program management experience.

· Knowledge in business critical applications like Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Google Suite, Outreach, Linkedin or DiscoverOrg.

· Experience with all phases of the sales and business development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

· Proven success in collaborative, cross-functional roles where you network, build relationships and influence others.

· Ability to tell a story and make decisions using data

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
