Robert Half PC Technician in West Palm Beach, Florida

The PC Technician Role is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity and will be located in the West Palm Beach, Florida region.
Major responsibilities
Manage and execute technology implementation projects
Interface with ticket submitters regularly and effectively
Take down, box and ship out of date equipment
Service a variety of computer hardware, diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and refurbishing PCs, laptops, monitors, servers, and other IT equipment
Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Install and repair printers, troubleshooting problems as needed
Support functionality testing and end users
Follow company quality standards to ensure the integrity of all electronic data records
Disassemble, pack, move and set up/install on site
Complete transferal of data from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware as well as break/fix
Manage inventory of equipment, including collaborating on potential purchases
Arrange repairs with the suitable vendors
Own imaging and preparation of new computers Requirements
Expertise in Windows Workstation
Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Office 365
Proficiency in Workstation Hardware
General familiarity with Desktop Hardware
Proven knowledge of Windows 11
Solid understanding of PC desktop/workstations
MS Windows 10 experience
Workstation Support experience
CompTIA A+ certification mandatory
An understanding of networking such as switching and routing is desired
Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions
High attention to detail
1 - 3 years of experience supporting hardware and software for PC and Mac, and knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN
Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required
Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
