Our Opportunity:

Our department, Market and Investment Risk Management (MIR), sits within Corporate Risk Management organization and is responsible for managing credit, market, capital, and liquidity risks for the firm. MIR seeks a risk management professional to work with our subject matter experts in providing and coordinating oversight of the business units’ centralized key risk and control repository (RCSA) as they relate to credit, market, capital, and liquidity risks. This is an individual contributor role.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate and execute controls testing program for Market, Credit, and Liquidity Risk Management

  • Contribute to the development of MIR’s testing methodology and process documentation

  • Facilitate and document control testing activities and findings

  • Recommend control design changes or improvements when needed

  • Provide advice and guidance to business units regarding internal controls standards

  • Partner with business units to design process to facilitate identification, assessment, monitoring and control exposure to credit, market, capital, and liquidity risk

What you have:

  • 2+ years of working knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and control frameworks

  • 1+ years of work in a financial services environment

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Strong project management skills, ability to set project plans, clearly identify deliverables, and manage multiple projects at once

  • Ability to influence others and build collaborative relationships

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal

  • Experience with Liquidity, Credit Market, and/or Capital risk management preferred

  • Consulting or auditing experience preferred
