About the role:

The North America Commercial Manager - Pharma & Medical position is responsible for equipment sales growth at both end customers in the Pharma & Medical vertical as well as OEM customers who are focused on supplying packaging machinery and other solutions to them. As a key member of the NA OEM-Pharma organization the individual will work closely with the commercial team to drive incremental new equipment placement into new and existing factories creating increased site penetration.

This position is part of the NA OEM-Pharma organization located in Wood Dale, IL and may be remote.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead activities to help target our efforts and offer a comprehensive, materially differentiated value proposition to the Pharma & Medical end customers and OEMs serving them

  • Establish & scale account management relationships with key Pharma & Med end customers, their preferred CMO/CDMO and their preferred OEMs with particular emphasis on increased site penetration

  • Provide transactional support and coaching to the OEM-Pharma sales team to ensure the correct and most comprehensive solution is defined for the customer

  • Ensure understanding and progress of each project through regular funnel reviews using our CRM Salesforce

  • Ensure organization and processes are in place to deliver the highest possible installed base retention. Lead cross-functional efforts to successfully countermeasure retention threats to our installed base

Are you qualified?

  • Business, Engineering or technical undergraduate degree required

  • Knowledge of a CRM (preferably SFDC) would be highly advantageous

  • A proven track record in Sales Management with Multinational Corporation

  • Successful management in a complex “matrixed” organization

  • Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills at all levels

  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize and to work on both, long term and short term projects

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $98,000 - $103,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
