Long Description Responsible for projects based on QCD in the segments as well as new launch projects with a focus on the optimization of processes based on root cause analysis using Six Sigma methodology. Trains the Six Sigma methodology within the plant by conducting official training classes as well as coaching yellow and green belt projects within the segments. Fulfills customer and business requirements with regard to cost-effectiveness *Your Key Responsibilities* Process Analysis/Six Sigma Projects: Tier 3 root cause analysis of fast pace manufacturing process optimization/development utilizing Six Sigma problem solving methodology techniques for current production and new launch projects. Complete internal technical reports following Schaeffler Process Analysis report procedure. Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt Project Coaching: Initializing and defining Six Sigma Yellow/Green belt projects including initial planning as far as project commissioning for yellow/green belts within Segments. Planning, controlling and completing Six Sigma yellow/green belt projects. Six Sigma training in the Schaeffler Group: Six Sigma Yellow Belt coaching up to 16 persons per training group, Statistics I intro to statistical tools and Minitab for practical use in processes optimization for individuals not pursuing a Yellow/Green belt and Six Sigma Green Belt training up to 30 persons per group and coaching up to 5 persons per group. *Your Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, production engineering, business studies
  • 1 to 3 years experience in manufacturing environment
  • Statistical knowledge
  • Green Belt Certification preferred
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Continuous improvement approach
