Pomp's Tire Service has a full-time Diesel Mechanic. These mechanics will primarily be responsible for performing services to heavy-duty and light truck, along with other tasks based on experience.At Pomp's, we value the opportunities to advance our employee's skills and positions at any level and work to support your development as a mechanic.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform oil changes, tire alignments, brake and shock replacement, and other mechanical services

Maintain and replace tires

Maintain tools and equipment

Troubleshoot customer needs and inspect vehicles for additional problems

Perform general housekeeping in work area

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Truck mechanical experience required

Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment driver's file

Ability to inspect vehicles for additional problems

Ability to use basic hand tools, air wrench, and other essential tools.

Ability to work independent with minimal supervision

Physical Demands:

Ability to carry, move or lift to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally

Frequent standing, twisting bending, stooping, crouching, and crawling

Frequent use of fingers and hands to grasp items, frequent reaching above the shoulders

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
