Job Description

Position Summary:

As Field Technician 3, you will be responsible for leading the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex security systems, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have substantial technical expertise in security system integration, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

  * Install and configure advanced security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and intercom systems.

  * Independently perform complex troubleshooting and repairs of security system components to ensure optimal system performance.

  * Collaborate with project teams to review and interpret project plans, specifications, and equipment requirements.

  * Lead and assist less experienced technicians in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of security systems.

  * Conduct comprehensive system testing and quality assurance to ensure compliance with industry standards and client expectations.

  * Provide technical guidance and support to team members, addressing any technical issues or challenges they encounter.

  * Maintain accurate documentation of installations, including as-built drawings, system configurations, and testing results.

  * Stay updated on industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance system performance and customer satisfaction.

  * Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects are executed on time and within budget constraints.

  * Train and mentor less experienced technicians, promoting their professional growth and knowledge in security system integration.

Skills and Requirements

Requirements:

  * High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications related to security systems are preferred.

  * Proven experience in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of advanced security systems.

  * In-depth knowledge of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and intercom systems.

  * Strong technical skills and the ability to independently solve complex technical issues.

  * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and support team members.

  * Familiarity with project plans, specifications, schematics, and industry regulations.

  * Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate documentation.

  * Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

  * Physical ability to lift and carry equipment, climb ladders, and perform installation tasks in various environments.
